  • The stretch of the Northumberland Coastline between Craster and Dunstanburgh, which is just over a mile, has claimed more Ships over the centuries than any other anywhere!
    I took this photo just as the North Sea was beginning to thunder into the hollow Whinstone crevices and caves a little further up the Coast.
    Its not to hard imaging what these rocks have done to Vessels made from both Wood and Iron.
    However its a beautiful place to spend a day or longer.
    This photo offers a view northwards along the rocky shore to the spectacular ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.
